Despite bad weather conditions, granfondisti have responded “present” to the first two stages. Four more races planned for this edition, “longer” than the previous ones.
The weather tried to spoil the party; granfondisti have given a little in the first stage, but in the second, equally marred by rain, they responded very well: the desire to cycle has been stronger than rain and wind. If GF Liotto, in fact, has seen some of the 2100 members surrender on the starting grid, in the next appointment, GF Fi’zi: k, almost all 2000 subscripted have decided to challenge the weather conditions. A beautiful testimony of passion and enthusiasm.
A good start, then, for the third edition of Challenge Giordana, the Veneto -Trentino circuit that, given the success of previous years, this year expands itself, both in respect of the territory involved, with the addiction of provinces of Sondrio and Treviso, and as regards the scheduled stages that have become six, one more than before.
So there are four more races to go: Granfondo Cycling Craft (Predazzo - May 27th), Granfondo Internazionale Eddy Merckx (Rivalta di Brentino Belluno - June 10th), GF Giordana (Aprica - June 24th) and GF Pinarello (Treviso - July 15th). There are good prospects for other four days of sport and for exceed the number of patent of 2011.
