Sunday, June 10th in Rivalta (VR), the 6° edition of Granfondo Internazionale Eddy Merckx. Among the guests Luca Scinto and the cyclists of Farnese Vini - Selle Italia, with Guardini and Rabottini. Saturday they will cycle alongside with fans for training. Registration for GF are still open. Trere will be Cunico, Falzarano, Rinaldi and Ilmer.

The cyclists of Farnese Vini - Selle Italia have challenged their sporting director Luca Scinto.The yellow – fluo team has come back from Giro d’Italia with a lot of satisfactions and, before the coming competitions, next Sunday it will be in Rivalta (VR) for GF Eddy Merckx. An opportunity to a different trainig, but also to challenge the coach Scinto.
At the start of Rivalta, for Farnese Vini Selle Italia, in addition to Scinto, there will be the two winners of two stages during Giro d’Italia: Andrea Guardini, who dominated the 18° stage of Giro, and Matteo Rabottini, winner of the stage of Pian Dei Resinelli and of the new blue jersey.
Moreover there will be Oscar Gatto, Luca Mazzanti, Elia Favilli and Davide Ricci Bitti, under the eyes of team manager Angelo Citracca, and the girls of MCipollini - Giambenini - Gauss team led by Alessia Piccolo, general manager of Giordana and soul of GF Eddy Merckx: Tatiana Guderzo and Valentina Carretta.
Trere will be also Eddy Merckx, happy to return each year at the start of the event to greet friends and fans. Granfondo Eddy Merckx will start Sunday, June 10th. At the ve of the race,  Saturday, June 9th it will be possible to cycle with Guardini, Rabottini, Gatto and other cyclists of Farnese Vini - Selle Italia.

The challenge in the streets of Valpolicella, the hills around Verona, the mountains of Trentino has already made several throat and lots of important granfondisti have already confirmed their presence. On the start, for a new challenge, there will be all the podium of the women’s GF Eddy Merckx 2011: Ilaria Rinaldi, winner of 2011, Marina Ilmer and Claudia Avanzi. Moreover there will be Christiane Bitante, Sabrina Zogli, Antonella Girardi, Lorna Ciacci, Marisa Coato and Gloria Gandini, while among men there will be Roberto Cunico, who won the first two stages of Challenge Giordana, Alfonso Falzarano, Matteo Cappè, Manuele Caddeo, Giuseppe Sorrenti Mazzocchi, Alessio Pareschi, Marco Fochesato, Antonio Camozzi, Davide Spiazzi and Riccardo Salani.
