Sunday, May 27th Marcialonga Cycling Craft celebrates 6th birthday. One year with Marcialonga sports, among cycling, running and skiing. From May 1st the registration fee is upgraded to 33€
 
 
The magic word is Marcialonga, that is synonymous with success, because in both skiing, running and cycling is the equivalent of professional events. Big numbers, again, and great organizing capacity where nothing is left to chance, for the sixth edition of Marcialonga Cycling Craft that is scheduled for 27 th May.

This year to increase the interest of cyclists there is also Tour of Italy, that will run along one of the four significant climbs of Marcialonga Cycling Craft, the one of Lavazè. One of the most long-awaited stages of Tour of Italy 2012 is the number 19, that eill start from Treviso. The date is May 25th, Friday;  few days later, Sunday 27th on those streets there will be granfondisti of Marcialonga Cycling Craft.

The race will start and arrive in Predazzo between Val di Fassa and Val di Fiemme where sports and hospitality has become a culture. For winter Marcialonga of last January, subscriptions were closed in a short time to have reached a plateau, with foreigners limited in number to allow space to Italians; for Marcialonga Cycling Craft of last May the participants were more than 2,000 (again with the inscriptions blocked beforehand), while the appointment of September with the “Running” had recorded 1,500 attendances.

The secret to success ... is not a secret, the president of C.O .Alfredo Weiss was very explicit. “Our organization is clearly voluntary mold,” he explained, “the organizing group is composed of about thousand people who are with us since many years. Moreover, very important is the strong partnerships with institutions”.

With the 1st May is approaching an important step for Marcialonga Cycling Craft, indeed since the Labor Day the price of subscriptions will increase to 33 Euro, that will become 40 Euro since 26th May. There will be two paths: Mediofondo of 80 km and 1,894 metres of difference in level, with climbs of Monte San Pietro and Lavazè; Granfondo of 135 km and 3,279 metres in altitude. 

The race is the race, but this year there are also special offers for some days of holiday, starting from 169€  with packages of two or three nights, to enjoy both the stage of Tour of Italy and Marcialonga Cycling Craft.
